The Greene County Spirit Team has raised $940 for Relay for Life, and the girls may not be finished fundraising.
All fall and winter Ram cheerleaders comprise the team. They held bake sales and earmarked a portion of the proceeds from the 2016 jersey auction for Relay for Life, team sponsor Deb Marquardt said.

The 2017 Relay for Life of Greene County, with the theme “Relay for Life – A Game Changer,” is slated for Saturday, April 22, from 9:30 am to 2:30 pm at the Greene County Community Center.
The event leadership team has set a fundraising goal of $50,000 to try to reach the national Top 10 in funds raised per capita. There is still time to register teams and plan fundraisers. Visit the Relay’s Facebook page or website for more information.
